Blog Relocation

Okay, so the big surprise is that I'm relocating my blog to TypePad. I just needed the feature that allows me to create tons of posts and have the posts happen without me doing a thing. Otherwise I can't show you all the fun projects I'm working on!

So hop on over for a visit. Bear with me as I continue to personalize my new home. Click Here

Adobe Photoshop

I am such a HUGE fan of this program. I love trying new tricks and playing with my photos using Adobe Photoshop. If you have never heard of Bob Staake check out this video of him: http://www.boingboing.net/2008/01/03/video-of-bob-staakes.html He is this amazing illustrator that uses Photoshop in the absolute most unique ways!

No cards today, but I have a surprise to share soon.

Merci!

Here's a better photo of yesterday's card. It looks much better when it's not all yellow and gross. I'm so glad that Friday is finally here - thank goodness it's a short work week. It was so hard to get my head back into work after being away for so long. Okay, I'm going to make this quick because it's almost 11pm and I'm still awake.

Thank You!

Sorry for the awful photo. There was no natural light available and I had to use my desk lamp. This simple "thank you" is for one of my friends that gave me a gift over the holidays. I wanted to put together a few quick and simple cards that I could mass produce.
I have more cards to show you, but I'm hoping to have some natural light available so that I can photograph them. Hope your New Year is off to a good start!

Gearing up!

Just getting ready for the work week. It's going to be short, but may carry over into the weekend for me due to deadlines. I've enjoyed a fantastic {my new favorite word} two week vacation, but now it's time for reality. I'm frantically cleaning the house after slacking all day long. The ornaments are packed and now DH just has to take down the tree and put it in the back yard so that he can cut it into pieces for yard waste.

I'm working on some projects tonight {too anxious about work, can't sleep} so I'll photograph them and post them tomorrow. Here's some inspiration I found - Anna Maria Horner. She's fantastic {there's that word again!}

It's almost 2008!

Whew! What a holiday season it has been in our house. We are still enjoying my parents company. They leave on Monday and we're pretty sure Baby B will miss all the attention. We're going to miss having them around. We're hoping we can convince them to come again next Christmas and make this a tradition. This is the second year in a row, so we're convinced three years in a row makes it a tradition!

Christmas was fantastic! We had a house full of friends and family. A ridiculous amount of food. There were kids and babies everywhere - it was PERFECT! We completely enjoyed ourselves and we were so happy everyone we invited was able to make it.

I'm working on some projects that I hope I can show this week. I'm taking advantage of some free time right now to make cards. Hope all my bloggin' buddies had a fantastic Christmas with their friends and family. Oh - and Santa was very good to me this year. No crafting goodies, but lots of goodies to help me with my running goals for 2008.

Here's a little funny until my next post. I've seen this floating around and decided to give it a try. Let me know if you try it so that I can check out your drink:
